Prerequisites

Attendance on BCM Bootcamp
General knowledge of the telecoms industry, terminology, hardware, software and protocols e.g. Wiring, ISDN, AA etc.
To be PC literate.
Preferably have 1 years experience in installation and commissioning of PBX.





This course will include those areas not included in the BCM Bootcamp :

System Programming
Handset/user features and button programming, Analogue, Digital, and IP trunk programming, Inbound/Outbound routing,
Service plans, COS, hunt groups, LCR, IP Phone registration.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance
DB Upload/download, Firmware upgrades, Licensing, Status/Alarms and Logs, VoIP debug/tracing


Setup and basic use of CTI, Unified Messaging, Activity Reporter, Meet-me
Conferencing.


Voicemail Programming and use.
Programming tool, Auto-Attendant/CCR programming, Mailbox Administration and use.



Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
